American Bison

America’s National mammal, the  American Bison is a prehistoric with herds of small groups, showing unity, in all 50 states. Bison have been known to encounter a storm and take it head on. Physically and atomically, they are built for this with big wide heads full of thick hair. They are wind animals meaning bison face the direction of the wind. By the way the herd is headed, you can tell which way the wind is blowing. Similar to successful people, the bison power through their storm and conquer their problem at hand. The bison may be the biggest and strongest animal in North America, but they are very agile. They live a very active life being true athletes of their fauna while running 35 mph and having a consistency of running 30 mph for 30 miles. They are big animals but prove to be strong and fast simultaneously. These grazers roam on average 2 miles a day to find their selective diet of plants in grasses. They try to avoid grains because it causes stomach bacteria in their ruminate four chambered stomach. Feared by few, bison are necessary to keep their terrain stable, successfully, and healthy while symbolizing strength, unity, resilience, a healthy community and lifestyle.
